Walt’s Fish Market Restaurant
WHERE TO EAT IN SARASOTA
When it comes to fresh, local seafood, the top spot in town has to be Walt’s Fish Market. Regularly featuring locally sourced grouper, red snapper, flounder, cobia, mahi, tripletail, shrimp and mullet; the menu reads “the fish we sell today, slept in the gulf last night,” a catchphrase that rings true upon first bite. In addition to the restaurant and market, there’s a tiki bar that provides an ideal spot to pair a tasty boat drink with that fresh catch.
Two years ago, Walt’s celebrated its 100th anniversary.
