This park, between downtown Sarasota and Lido Key, is a nice place to walk, walk your dog, picnic, watch the sunset, go kayaking, drop a line to catch fish or just read a book and enjoy the scenery. Parking is plentiful but fills up in the evening as walkers want to get in their exercise. There are benches to provide a place to lookout over Sarasota Bay, covered picnic tables, dog water fountains, and walking paths that extend the length of the park and go under the John Ringling Causeway Bridge.
